Editing and Writing Services

Price List

Prices are subject to change, tax, and are quoted in CAD dollars. Before beginning work, Catherine (and/or her team members offering services below) will finalize cost with you based on an evaluation of your needs, the project needs, and size of the project. Prices open to negotiation.

Most editors charge per word or page, so why flat rates? It’s just easier for you to know exactly what you’re paying, no hidden costs or extra fees. Catherine’s an author too, so she is well aware of the fiscal challenges an author faces. When she was searching for her own editors, it was often difficult to find out exactly how much an edit would cost with other pricing models  Catherine specializes in assisting new and self-published authors, and so she keeps her rates within most budgets in that market.

She and her team bill using secured payment methods (PayPal, Square, etransfer) and accept credit cards. Billing is done after the work is completed unless it is over $500 where she bills 50% at the halfway point and the remaining 50% at the end.

All services are customized to meet the needs of the author and the work. All editing services include an editor’s report and up to 1 hour follow up. Not satisfied with the work Catherine or her team has offered? Let us know and we’ll make it right.
